Join Fijalka Turzikova for this 2.5-hour workshop to learn the Tsadul series (pranayama), the preliminary series of Yantra Yoga.
Tsadul – the control of the channels – is a preliminary series of Yantra Yoga that loosens the joints and begins to open the subtle energy channels.
“The characteristic function of the Tsadul movements is to help soften the muscles while opening and controlling the physical and energetic channels. The Tibetan word tsa refers to the channels that run throughout the body, including both physical channels such as nerves, veins, and arteries, as well as the subtle and immaterial nadis, i.e. the energy channels. Dul means to control, coordinate, or master; in the context of the practice, it means to optimize and make as efficient and functional as possible. This series of exercises, together with the corresponding pranayama breathing exercise, reactivates the correct circulation of prana within our channels and eliminates all the defects that hinder this essential function of our vital energy.”
