Exploring Khaita is a 3-month learning programme with teachers from all over the world.
It includes weekly classes and monthly workshops, dedicated to various topics related to Khaita Joyful Dances.
You can sign up for 1 month (4 weekly classes + workshops*) or a whole program (13 classes + workshops*) – according to your needs.
Each month you can join us, whether you continue or not.
Weekly classes start from Tuesday, 24th of February 2026. We will meet every Tuesday at 7 pm CET time for a one hour practice, training new choreographies, going deeper into details, sharing experiences and creating a circle of joy spending time together.
It is not necessary for students to have prior knowledge of Khaita or any other dances.
We suggest that students will attend at least 50% of the classes live. The intention of the program is to offer opportunities to connect with the community of teachers and practitioners from around the world and to make the most of our collective experience.
The first trial class is free.
Monthly workshops will cover the following topics this year:
February 21st. Khaita Joyful Dances: Origin and Practice.*
A conversation with Adriana Dal Borgo and Eva Leick, organized by the UK Shang Shung Institue (needs separate registration)
March 29th. Application of Khaita in Different Situations.

May 3rd. Sacred Places and Sacred Objects in Khaita: Functions and Benefits.
