 In this course\, we will study and practice the Tsigjong\, the first preli
 minary series of Yantra Yoga. After the Tsigjong\, comes the Lungsang\; 8 
 movements to purify the breath and balance the energy\, followed by the Ts
 adul\; the 5 movements to balance the subtle energies and control the chan
 nels. \nThe Tibetan word Tsigjong is a compound consisting of tsig\, meani
 ng ¨joints¨ and jong\, ¨training¨. According to Tibetan medicine\, we have
  twelve major joints in the body and 250 minor joints\, and their predomin
 ant elements are earth and water. Also will explain how important our join
 ts' health is and how it reflects in our overall health. \nThe function of
  this series is very important\, it releases tension on the major and mino
 r joints of the body\, helps unblock them\, and in turn\, has a revitalizi
 ng\, reenergizing effect. Regarding the Yantra Yoga practice\, we consider
  the Tsigjong the ¨ warm-ups ¨ both for the body and the breathing\,creati
 ng a base for the following practices.\nFor those who might find difficult
 ies in some of the movements and want to try a softer way to practice\, yo
 u will also learn the ‘On the Chair’ variations of these exercises\, which
  are also an ideal routine to be practiced at the office!\nAll this will b
 e accompanied by the vast ancient knowledge of Tibetan Medicine\, which ex
 plains how each exercise works at the level of the body and the subtle ene
 rgy and why these practices are so beneficial for your overall health\, bo
 th to prevent and support the healing treatments of diseases. Dr. Phuntsog
  will be also answering your questions in most of the zoom meetings\, rega
 rding the Tsigjong practice and joint health.
